Eye Refraction

Eye refraction refers to the routine examination of your eye's power for prescription of spectacles and contact lenses. This includes checking for any myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism or presbyopia. 

Contact Lens Fitting

Prior to the sales of contact lenses, we do provide a fitting session to ensure that the lenses are suitable and catered to your needs. Apart from regular soft daily and monthly disposable lenses, we also do fitting for specialty lenses such as toric and multifocal soft lenses, or Rigid Gas Permeable (RGP) lenses. 

Eye Health Assessment (Screening for eye-related disease)

A comprehensive eye examination does not only entail the checking of eye-power but also includes the examination of eye health. At Nanyang Optical, we provide anterior and posterior eye health checks. The anterior check helps to detect any cataract or contact lens complications, and the posterior check helps to pick up any glaucoma, age-related macular degeneration (AMD) or any eye-disorders caused by diabetes and hypertension. 

Myopia Management

Apart from the routine eye examination every six months, we do help to manage myopia in children, starting from a comprehensive eye-check routine to help understand your child's lifestyle needs, to managing the myopia through various solutions such as Ortho-Keratology, myopia-control lens, soft contact lenses, along with education and instillation of good eye-care habits. 

Safety Glasses

Safety glasses are required to protect workers from hazards that can result in eye injuries. We provide prescription safety glasses and corporate service. Contact us to find out more.
